A water slide is a type of slide designed for warm-weather, with water pumped to its top and allowed to flow down its surface., although some may simply be wet. Water slides typically run into a swimming pool (also called a plunge pool) at the end.

Curvy slide

Water slides are popular at water parks, such as the Wet ‘n Wild parks located throughout the United States or Sandcastle Waterworld in the UK.

In some countries are eater slides, also called flumes, water chutes, or hydroslides.
There are many different types of waterslides designed for different people.
They can be straight or curvy, with a steep or gentle gradient. Large slides in thrill parks may be designed to maximize gravitiy force so a person can achieve maximum speed (Kamikaze slide, Plunge/Plumett slide) up to 65miles per hour.
Slides with sharp curves are usualy completely enclosed to prevent users from leaving the slide; Speed in this waterslides can range from gentle and family-friendly to surprisingly intense.

Three slides

Tube/Raft Slides Some slides are designed to be ridden with a tube or raft. These are commonly family slides, and some tubes allow up to 8 riders at one time. These are normally slow but very fun, because they include many twists and turns, and sometimes have pools along their length to simulate whitewater rafting.

Extreme slides are hydro coasters which shoot riders up and down with water.

For home use inflatable water slides are the best. They are easy to set up and will offer kids a lot of fun. One of the best manifactures is Banzai.
